PAST and UPCOMING WEBINARS

June 19th, 2026

Cancer Synoptic Reporting with SNOMED CT Description Cancer synoptic reporting supports the structured and standardized capture of essential cancer data, improving completeness, consistency, and clinical usefulness across care pathways. The SNOMED CT Clinical Implementation Guide for Cancer Synoptic Reporting provides practical guidance on applying SNOMED CT concepts to represent diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes in an interoperable way. The scope of this guide focuses specifically on structured pathology reporting of malignant neoplasms, aligned with specifications from the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting (ICCR). This implementation-focused webinar introduces the key principles of synoptic reporting in oncology and explores how SNOMED CT supports high-quality, shareable clinical data. It will highlight real-world use cases, including hematologic malignancies, cervical cancer screening, and neuro-oncology tumor resections, demonstrating how standardized data capture improves collaboration and continuity of care. The session will also feature a practical demonstrator showing how FHIR Questionnaire resources can be used to represent the structure of synoptic reporting forms, with SNOMED CT terminology bindings applied to ensure precision and consistency. Participants will gain insight into how combining SNOMED CT with FHIR enables interoperable, reusable data that supports clinical care, research, and quality improvement.

Clinical Data Analytics with SNOMED CT Clinical data analytics relies on high-quality, structured, and semantically consistent data to generate meaningful insights. SNOMED CT enables this by providing a rich, standardized terminology that supports aggregation, querying, and analysis across diverse datasets and healthcare systems. This implementation-focused webinar introduces the key principles and approaches to clinical data analytics using SNOMED CT. It will highlight how SNOMED CT facilitates scalable and reproducible analytics, and demonstrate practical use cases through available tools and demonstrators. Participants will explore how coded clinical data can be leveraged to support population health management, research, and decision-making.

Building Questionnaires with SNOMED CT and FHIR Description FHIR Questionnaires provide a standardized, computable way to capture structured clinical data, while SNOMED CT ensures that captured information is precise, interoperable, and reusable across systems and use cases. Together, they enable high-quality data collection that supports clinical care, analytics, and decision support. This implementation-focused webinar demonstrates how to build, manage, and validate FHIR Questionnaires with SNOMED CT terminology bindings. Participants will work hands-on with the available utility, learning how to connect to a FHIR server, store, manage, and version questionnaire resources to ensure accurate and consistent SNOMED CT bindings.

February 9th, 2026

Terminology Binding with SNOMED CT This webinar will introduce key concepts of terminology binding and showcase the Terminology Binding Demonstrator, illustrating how SNOMED CT can be effectively linked with data models and clinical information systems. The session will include a live demonstration and hands-on exercise, followed by an open Q&A to discuss practical implementation considerations.

January 12th, 2026

Search and Data Entry with SNOMED CT This webinar will provide an in-depth overview of search and data entry with SNOMED CT, highlighting the capabilities of the User Interface Demonstrator. Participants will explore how SNOMED CT concepts can be effectively searched, retrieved, and selected during clinical data entry, and how different search strategies influence usability and data quality. The session will also touch on how the FHIR Terminology Server API supports efficient and scalable data search, enabling real-time access to SNOMED CT content and terminology services. A live demonstration of the User Interface Demonstrator will showcase its features, configuration options, and practical examples of concept selection in real-world scenarios. The webinar will conclude with an open Q&A session for discussion and implementation guidance.
